Since January 2020, he has been Vice-Principal of the Acceptance and Emergency Department of the "Franz Tappeiner" Hospital in Merano (BZ) of the Südtiroler Sanitätsbetrieb - South Tyrolean Health Authority.

From January 2016 to July 2019, he was in charge of the CAD and SOS of Nephrology and Dialysis at the Hospital of Cividale del Friuli, Azienda Sanitaria Universitaria Integrata di Udine.

Since 2014, he has been teaching the International Health Cooperation course at Alma Mater Studiorum, University of Bologna, MA.

A journalist since 1994, in 2003 he founded and is the director of Socialnews, a social-health information newspaper sponsored by RAI, registered in 2004 by the Court of Trieste. He covers scientific and geopolitical popularization in the national newspaper "La Ragione".

As part of humanitarian and emergency health interventions, it has organized and participated in numerous missions to war zones with emergency management, route organization, negotiations with the parties involved, receiving various awards from governments and supranational organizations. For such activities he founded in 2003 (and is still President) @uxilia Odv, registered with Runts which is also ESF training institution.

As a hospital manager, he applied innovative techniques in cross management called 'Horizontal Leadership'. On this topic he was called to speak as a guest speaker at TEDx in Udine and wrote the essay "Vanguard Teal. The Future of Business Organizations. Dynamics and methods for working in groups and knowing oneself." The book is published by TAB Editions (2021).

In February 2004 he met in audience His Holiness Pope John Paul II, in March 2008 and July 2012 His Holiness the Dalai Lama, and in October 2012 the Dalai Lama's sister, Jetsun Pema. In 2014 he met Pepe Mujica and in 2018 Maria Victoria Guevara, Che's sister.
